The countdown begins...
Wow! Most years, if it was December 10 & my dining room table looked like this...
...I would be ecstatic. However, these are beautifully wrapped EMPTY boxes. Decorations for a holiday party my mom is chairing.
The gifts for my family are still at the store. *Sigh*
T-minus 5.5 school days left. I want to be done with everything but the baking by then. Think I can get it done? Bring it!

Tough...
loss last night. I'm not usually one to blame the refs for the outcome of a game, but last night was an exception. Seriously atrocious reffing. It's a real shame to completely take the game out of the hands of the players. Perhaps the Bulls wouldn't have won the game with a different officiating crew, but it would have been nice to find out. Ugh.
The field was a mess, nothing but dirt. Can you tell?!
I guess it's better than snow, right?!

Game Night
Tonight, Jordan's high school team is the "away" team playing against 3 of her club teammates. At the field where Megan's team won their District Championship her freshman year.
Which just also happens to be the field where this picture was taken of my grandmother. In 1937. Grandma is the one in front with the cute dimples.
Let's Go Bulls!

The (Not So) Punctual Post
The Punctual Part:
First of all, I must say we are in mourning over Saturday's loss to Alabama. As sad as it was to see, the better team (that day) won. I'm looking forward to starting off the new year watching Timmy put on that blue & orange uniform one more time.
Now on to Less Punctual Matters:
In more Gator News...
My Gator Girl hosted the family Thanksgiving Dinner at her condo in Gainesville...
We brought my parents up...
And Michael's parents drove up...
Add in Michael's brother, Rob & that's quite amotley crew we had.
Just kidding! It was a lovely day, filled with all my favorites. Family, fotos & food.
See all the 12s hanging all over? Megan decorated not only for Thanksgiving, but for Ben's birthday, which was the day before Thanksgiving...
Wasn't that sweet? He thought it was pretty cool.
We ordered the turkey & fixins' from Publix. It was ohsogood!!! I may never cook my own turkey again (not that I USUALLY cook Thanksgiving dinner, but I haveon occasion once).
It wasn't a fancy dinner by any means...paper plates, plastic cups & flatware, you know, college style, but I think everyone really enjoyed it.
And, I, for one was very Thankful to have both sides of our family together.
Now for your viewing pleasure... watch this corner kick.
That was our girl, Jordan, bending it "like Beckham" in a high school game last week. :)
Now I've got the Thanksgiving post out of the way... on to Christmas!

My Birthday (Guest Post)
I was going to do a post honoring my little guy today, but he wanted to honor himself. Happy Birthday Ben! We love you more than you'll ever know. ~Love, Mom
My Birthday
By Ben
Today, as you might know is my sixth anniversary of my sixth birthday (That means I'm Twelve.) So my gracious Mom let me make another blog post. Since there's twelve years of pictures of me I think it's time to share.Look how cute I was, I guess some things never change.
My little, little piggies.
I think she ate me.
Leave me alone I need my sleep, women!
So cute it must be censored.
Most kids don't brush at all, at that age.
I wonder how I got up there...
I'm totally rockin' those blue clues pajamas.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Bennyboy!
To infinite (cuteness) and beyond!
Yo can AAAAAAAAAWWWWWW if you must.
I'm pretty fly for a pre-k kid.
Anyone need there lawns mowed?
Let not my face fool you, I was having fun.
That happened at least a hundred times that day. O the memories.
Don't worry it was field day at my school. I never needed to use a wheelchair. Ever.
Look at me all dressed up - for something....
Pretty awesome bedhead right there. I'm pretty impressed with myself.
Thank you everyone who read this post, and and dealt with the many grammar mistakes I know I must have made.
~Ben

Down Down Down
We've been at a soccer tourney all weekend, so other than the fact Jordan's team is in the semi-finals tomorrow, I have nothing to report. I would like to share this video however, done by the seniors of the morning show at Jordan's high school. Jordan isn't one of them, but I think you will find in enjoyable nonetheless.

Today's the Day
Happy Birthday to my wonderfully organized sister-in-law, Amy! She's so organized she's already sent Ben's birthday gift (which is next week ,OMG!) & has called about the kids Christmas gifts (I WILL call you back, I swear!) I'm so immersed into HS soccer season disorganized that I didn't realize what date it was until yesterday. I'm a bad sister-in-law, but you're a great one & a wonderful aunt to my kiddos! Hope you have a great day & we're all looking forward to seeing you guys next month!
